The Tycoon (sitcom, starring Walter Brennan)

    [The veteran character actor played a cantankerous millionaire
     in this sitcom which only lasted a single-season. It apparently
     evolved out of episode #111 of "The Real McCoys" which was named
     named "The Tycoon (subtitled 'The Coop')." Perhaps audiences
     couldn't accept a season of Brennan in this more well-heeled role
     because of the unmistakeble impression he made in his role as a
     cantankerous "Grandpa" in the country-flavored "Real McCoys"
     which aired 1957 - 1963, which also see.]
