(Syndicated, 1957 - 1961)
[Verified as the THEME in TV Guide article "When The Melody
Lingers On..." May 17, 1958, pp. 22-23;
Ray Llewellyn was a pseudonym assigned to several music writers
when they worked for hire on ZIV-TV, productions, with a buyout
contract since they would not collect royalties; Among them
were ASCAP writers David Rose, Warren Barker, Jon Epstein
and Raymond ("Ray") Bloch.
Some lesser-known non-affiliated writers who may have worked
under this arrangement (as seen in cues for "King of Diamonds")
were Dick Bancroft, Bill Donati and Judith Pines.
According to production music library researcher Paul Mandell,
this THEME was most likely written by David Rose (ASCAP)]
