[This was the first and best known of two Loretta Young Shows;
Screen star Miss Young usually made a dramatic entrance at the
beginning of the show in a full length dress which whirled
about her as she stepped forward to hos the introduction;
she sometimes also acted in the episodes;
On Tuesday nights in 1957, NBC re-ran episodes which did not
feature Miss Young under the title "Festival Of Stars" which
also see...this was a separate series hosted by Don Ameche;
After its long and succesful Primetime run, the series was
re-run for many years on daytime afternoons Monday - Friday
between NBC soap operas;
Her second series "The New Loretta Young Show" was a CBS
