Laredo (western, starring Peter Brown and Neville Brand)
(NBC Primetime, 1965 - 1967)
Theme 1: "Laredo Main Title"
[In the annual Television Music issue of "BMI-Many Worlds of Music",
for October, 1965, credit is given to Jack Marshall for "Theme and
Original Score" for the NBC series Laredo; although no composition
with an obvious THEME title has been found just yet in ASCAP or BMI
databases or in copyright records, BMI does list background cues for
Laredo composed by Jack Marshall as "Laredo-BG Cues" published by
Duchess-Hawaii Music Corp. (BMI);
If THEME credit in BMI "Many Worlds of Music" is not in error, one
possibility is: it might have been that Marshall arranged another
tune such as "The Streets of Laredo (aka: Cowboy's Lament") and this
old western Public Domain tune might have been used as a part of the
Opening Billboard or Main Title sequence at one point...]
