(NBC Primetime, 1964 - 1965)
[Dennis Weaver left the CBS hit series "Gunsmoke" to
star in this series described as a "comedy-drama"; the
far-fetched premise was that Weaver's character was
a veterinarian recently widowed who becomes the guardian
of a 10-year old orphan boy from China with the improbable
name of "Dwight Eisenhower (Ike) Wong"; viewers didn't
buy it, so Weaver moved on to star in "McCloud"]
