The Hunter [#1] (espionage, starring Barry Nelson)

    [This series, sponsored by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco, was produced
     by Ed Montagne for Pathescope Studios of New York; For the first
     run which was broadcast on CBS as a summer replacement series, the 
     lead character of Bart Adams, undercover agent living in Europe, 
     was played by Barry Nelson; The series was not renewed by CBS for
     the Fall; But the sponsor and producers had faith in this cold-war
     drama, and they kept making new episodes which they syndicated.
     
     In these episodes, unknown Keith Larsen played the lead role of
     Bart Adams; Then in the Fall of 1954, these new episodes were 
     broadcast on NBC for three months;

     This was the first of three U. S. Series which had the title
     of "Hunter" or "The Hunter"...]
