(ABC Primetime, 1963 - 1967) [this Quinn Martin production was inspired by the real-life case of Doctor Sam Shepherd whose wife was murdered, and the doctor is accused of killing her, despite his belief in an unknown assailant who might have committed the crime; In the series this assailant was described as a "one-armed man"; so in the series the protaganist is in a race against time and capture to find this "one-armed man", and to make it interesting for television, he has a few other adventures along the way; David Janssen starred as the fugitive Doctor Richard Kimble, Barry Morse played the police lieutenant who was chasing him, and the narrator was William Conrad, voice of Matt Dillon on radio's "Gunsmoke"]
