(PBS, 1975)
[This science series co-produced by PBS and the BBC in England
explained topics in cosmology, astronomy and astrophysics
to the average viewer; its host was a prize-winning physicist
and author Carl Sagan -- who had an erudite and sometimes
effusive style of explaining the wonders of science; one of
his catch-phrases -- "billions and billions of stars" --
became the most famous, and was lampooned by Johnny Carson,
and on other comedy series of the day]

The artist named "Vangelis" was a 1970s advocate of using synthesizers

parts of the Shostakovich Symphony No. 11, Stravinsky's "Rite
of Spring", the Pachelbel "Canon a 3" and Rimsky-Korsakov's
"Russian Easter Overture" -- all of which ended up on the LPs
and CD's which were released as "soundtrack" albums for the
TV series...]
