(CBS, 1953 - 1955) [Paul Terry's "Terry-Toons" had successfully introduced characters including "Mighty Mouse" in theatrical cartoons during the 1940s, and even some black and white cartoons he created in the silent era such as "Farmer Al Falfa"; this series was a showcase for his work on early network TV; In some markets, the series was aired twice weekly for 15 minutes each; and others aired the two halves put together as a 30-minute Saturday Morning cartoon show... During the 1950s - early 1960s, Terrytoons made "Heckle & Jeckle", "Deputy Dawg", and a couple of regulars on "Captain Kangaroo" -- which were "Tom Terrific" and "Mighty Manfred, The Wonder Dog"]
