    [a series of travel films about American sites produced by Jack Douglas;
     two seasons of episodes were produced and distributed by CBS Films;

     Two other US TV series named "America" were produced -- a 1972 - 73 series
     co-produced by NBC-TV and the British BBC hosted by Allistair Cooke which
     was re-run two years later on PBS (1974 - 1975); and a daily syndicated
     magazine show hosted by Sarah Purcell and actor McClean Stevenson in the
     1985 - 1986 season.]
