     television series such as "Victory at Sea" and "Air Power",
     the BBC television network decided to produce a 26-part
     series showcasing the British contribution to the success 
     of the War, via operations of the British Royal Air Force;

     This production made in 1954, was then syndicated in the
     United States in 1956 where it aired in several major cities]
