Tarzan (adventure, starring Ron Ely)

    (NBC Primetime, 1966 - 1968)

    [Based upon the series of jungle adventure books by Edgar Rice
     Burroughs; Ron Ely had previously starred in a TV series which
     began as "Aquaman" and ended with the title "Malibu Run";

     A decade after this live-action primetime version of "Tarzan"
     aired, several animated versions were created as Saturday
     morning children's fare on CBS. The first of those was called
     "Tarzan: Lord of the Jungle". Those animated series used several
     themes composed by Yvette Blais with co-composer credits
     by producer Norman Prescott (which see).]
