The Tammy Grimes Show (sitcom)

    (ABC Primetime, 1966)

    [the popular singing musical star of the 1950s was given
     an opportunity to act along with Dick Sargent (later to
     star in Bewitched".) Tammy played Dick's twin sister...
     in fact the working title of the series was "My Twin
     Sister"...but by the first air date the focus had
     shifted the title back to the headliner;

     Although 10 episodes were filmed by Twentieth Century-
     Fox television, the ratings were so bad after only 4
     episodes aired, that the show was cancelled;

     The only thing memorable was perhaps the THEME which
     was one of the few times John Williams ever wrote a
     THEME for a sitcom (although his light-hearted THEME
     for the Audrey Hepburn-Peter O'Toole film "How To Steal
     A Million" which was released the same year in 1966
     was a rare delight too)]
