Sierra (adventure)

    (NBC Primetime, 1974)

    [Jack Webb's "Mark VII" production company produced this series
     about the adventures of Park Rangers in the Sierra Mountains;
     Despite Webb's production touch and a THEME sung by John Denver,
     competition from the popular series "The Waltons" on another
     mountain, beat out "Sierra"; and it folded after 13 weeks;

     James G. Richardson starred in the role of Ranger Tim Cassidy]
