The Rough Riders (western, starring Kent Taylor)

     (ABC Primetime, 1958 - 1959;
      Syndicated)

     [The name "Rough Riders" has been used in various ways in
      the history and mythology of the United States; From the
      Teddy Roosevelt group that charged up San Juan Hill in
      the Spanish-American War, to various B-Pictures with that
      name in the title (like "Rough Riders Round-Up", etc.;

      This series produced by ZIV Television had little bearing
      to anything that went before it; it was a routine low-budget
      western about three Civil-war soldiers who become buddies --
      two Union soldiers and a Confederate soldier -- who go
      around cleaning up various groups of ante-bellum bad guys
      and renegade Indians;

      This was one of the few ZIV-TV series that was aired on a
      network first and not sold directly via First Run Syndication]
