The Loretta Young Show [#1] (dramatic anthology)

     [aka: "Letter to Loretta"]

     (NBC Primetime, 1953 - 1961;
      Rerun NBC Primetime, 1957, some episodes under "Festival of Stars";
      Rerun NBC Daytime, 1960 - 1964
         under the title: "The Loretta Young Theatre")

     [This was the first and best known of two Loretta Young Shows;
      Screen star Miss Young usually made a dramatic entrance at the
      beginning of the show in a full length dress which whirled
      about her as she stepped forward to hos the introduction; 
      she sometimes also acted in the episodes; 

      On Tuesday nights in 1957, NBC re-ran episodes which did not
      feature Miss Young under the title "Festival Of Stars" which
      also see...this was a separate series hosted by Don Ameche;

      After its long and succesful Primetime run, the series was
      re-run for many years on daytime afternoons Monday - Friday
      between NBC soap operas;
