The Joey Bishop Show [#1] / The New Joey Bishop Show (sitcom)

    (NBC Primetime, 1961 - 1964;
     CBS Primetime, 1964 - 1965)

    [Second season title change: "The New Joey Bishop Show"]

    [Danny Thomas' production company produced this sitcom featuring
     Joey Bishop who had made a name for himself in stand-up comedy,
     and was an erstwhile member of Frank Sinatra's vegas "rat pack";

     During the first season, Joey Bishop played an unmarried show
     business publicist; the supporting cast included Joe Flynn,
     Marlo Thomas (Danny Thomas' daughter) and Marge Griggs;

     For the second season, a complete remake of cast and format
     resulted in Bishop playing a married stand-up comedian (this
     was years before "Seinfeld"); His wife was played by Abby
     Dalton and other members of the cast were Guy Marks and
     Corbett Monica among others...

     This was the first of two "Joey Bishop Shows"; the second
     one was a night-time talk show, which see]
