    [a Screen Gems series based upon the MGM musical western,
    "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" (1954) set in 1870's Seattle,
     directed by Stanley Donan with a musical score by Gene De Paul;

     Oddly enough, in 1982 another TV series called "Seven Brides
     For Seven Brothers" based upon the same MGM film was attempted,
     but it only lasted one season]
