The Dick Cavett Show [#4] (variety)

    (CBS Primetime, 1975)

     This was the fourth of several talk and variety shows hosted
     by the genial witty intellectual comedian from Nebraska, who
     was a devoted fan and friend of Groucho Marx in his later
     years, and a friend of Woody Allen from his early career;

     This was a Summer Primetime variety series for CBS, after
     Cavett's long-running nighttime series for ABC got lost in
     their late-night "Wide World of Entertainment" umbrella
     with continual pre-emptions and interruptions for "special
     event programming"]
