Dean Martin Presents The Golddiggers (comedy variety)

    (NBC Primetime, 1968;
     NBC Primetime, 1969;
     NBC Primetime, 1970;
     Syndicated, 1971)

    [1970 title: "The Golddiggers In London";
     1971 title: "The Golddiggers";
     aka: "The Golddiggers Show"]

    [Originally a summer-replacement series for the "Dean Martin
     Show" it featured a bevvy of beauties strutting their fluff :-),
     plus the usual Martin-esque group of comedians -- in short
     a Burlesque show for TV -- which surprisingly lasted more
     than three summers, including a Syndicated version in 1971;

     Frank Sinatra Jr. and Joey Heatherton were co-hosts in 1968
     and 1969, and comedian Charles Nelson Reilly hosted in 1970
     and the 1971 Syndicated version.]

Theme 1: "We're In The Money (The Gold Diggers' Song)" from the musical comedy film "The Gold Diggers of 1933"

    [aka: "The Gold Diggers' Serenade";

     Although the universal idea of a "gold digger" (who tries
     to romance or marry someone for their money") was first
     the title of films as early as 1923 and 1929, this series
     of Warner Brothers musical comedies with Busby Berkeley
     choreography, began with the one in 1933, starring Dick
     Powell, Joan Blondell and Ruby Keeler; they proved so
     popular that sequels were released -- "The Gold Diggers
     of 1935", "The Gold Diggers of 1937", "The Gold Diggers
     in Paris" (1938)....]
