[The first made-for-TV cartoons were created in five-minute
lengths. The first series was first produced between 1948 -
1951 by Jerry Fairbanks, with animators Jay Ward and his
partner Alexander Anderson working in San Francisco.]
[When Jay Ward went on to create Rocky and Bullwinkle,
a second series of Crusader Rabbit cartoons was produced
without his talents in 1956, but did not flourish.]

"Rabbit Fanfare" & "Main Title Rabbit"
[An opening fanfare was based upon the Western folk song
"The Trail To Mexico" (PD), and the most memorable part
was a string arrangement of the nursery tune "Ten Little
Indians" (Public Domain), in a copyrighted arrangement
