     [Based upon the 1972 John Wayne motion picture of the same name,
      about seven homeless boys who go to work on a ranch...this TV
      series spin-off starred Jim Davis and Kate Anderson with a 
      number of young actors, three of whom became more well known
      later, including A. Martinez, Sean Kelly and Clint Howard;
      Despite the interesting premise, this mid-season replacement
      series wasn't renewed in the Fall]
