For his ballet "Appalachian Spring", Aaron Copland used
old American folk tunes including a Shaker hymn called
"Simple Gifts". The section of the ballet which was used
as the "CBS Reports" THEME based upon "Simple Gifts", and
comes about midway through the ballet.]
