    [One of the longest-running circus series on television; 
     after one season of Primetime, it became a regular part
     of the CBS Saturday Afternnon schedule for 7 years; it
     originated from New Jersey; the ringmaster was Jack 
     Sterling; making his debut on television was announcer
     Ed MacMahon -- as a clown; the bandleader was Joe Basile, 
     known as "The Brass Band King"]
