     In a TV Interview Earle Hagen reminisced, "I realized what
     the show needed was a simple tune. So I spent all of 15 minutes
     writing it. I called my bass player and drummer and we recorded
     it in a little studio on Fairfax Avenue (in Hollywood.) I
     whistled the tune myself..."
     
     Hagen shared writing credits with his partner in the music
     production company named "Spencer-Hagen" -- Herb Spencer,
     who also co-founded of the Spencer-Hagen orchestra.]
