    [a catchy tune with a whistled melody, 
     aka: The Fishin' Hole,

     in a TV Interview Earle Hagen reminisced, "I realized what
     the show needed was a simple tune. So I spent all of 15 minutes
     writing it. I called my bass player and drummer and we recorded
     it in a little studio on Fairfax Avenue (in Hollywood.) I
     whistled the tune myself..."
     
     Hagen shared writing credits with his business partner,
     Herb Spencer (co-founder of the Spencer-Hagen orchestra.)]
