The Al Pearce Show (comedy variety)

     [this comedian got an unprecendented chance in early
      television -- both a Daytime and Nighttime show with
      himself as a headliner...unfortunately neither show
      caught on with the audience as he had with CBS execs;

      The daytime show began on February in Hollywood and,
      except for a Summer hiatus lasted through September;

      The nighttime show was a Summer replacement for "The
      George Burns and Gracie Allen Show"...and originated
      from New York where the daytime show did after that]

     (CBS Daytime, 1952
      CBS Primetime, 1952)
